PITTSBURGH — A 14-year-old girl who was last heard from Tuesday afternoon was found safe at a gas station in Wilkinsburg Wednesday evening, according to Braddock Mayor John Fetterman.
Fetterman said Nadia Nance was cold and scared when she was found, but she is now safe at home.

Earlier Wednesday, Nance’s stepfather, who is a Braddock police officer, and her mother pleaded for her to come home.
“She always calls,” said Nakia Boyd, Nadia’s mother. “I’m worried to death. Everybody is praying. Everyone out there, if you see her -- please call 911.”
