Penguins reveal promotional giveaways for upcoming season

The Pittsburgh Penguins have revealed what the team is giving away throughout the 2026-27 season.

The promotional calendar includes team milestone celebrations, player-themed merchandise and tribute items for fans.

The schedule features events commemorating the franchise’s 60th anniversary, starting with the home opener on Oct. 3 against the Montreal Canadiens. Fans attending the opening game will receive a magnetic schedule.

The team’s second annual Hall of Fame Game is scheduled for Nov. 14 against the Ottawa Senators. During the event, the team will induct the Penguins Hall of Fame Class of 2026, which includes Marc-Andre Fleury, Jim Rutherford and Larry Murphy. Fans attending the game will receive a Hall of Fame Mystery Bag Charm featuring one of the three inductees.

Two gate giveaways during the season will focus on forward Evgeni Malkin. A Malkin Talking Bobblehead will be given away on Jan. 23 against Vancouver. A Malkin Coffee Table Book will be given out on Feb. 28 against the New York Rangers.

Additionally, a Mike Lange Catchphrase Alarm Clock will be distributed on Dec. 5 against New Jersey to celebrate the legacy of the former voice of the Penguins.

On Jan. 31, the organization will recognize the 10th anniversary of the 2017 Stanley Cup Championship team with a pre-game ceremony. All fans in attendance that night will receive a commemorative championship ring. The team will also distribute additional 60th anniversary items later in the season, including a 60th anniversary poster on Dec. 18 and a 60th anniversary patterned shirt on March 14.

Other giveaways on the promotional calendar include a team calendar on Oct. 5 against Winnipeg, an Iceburgh building blocks set on Oct. 24 and a trick-or-treat tote for children ages 14 and under on Oct. 29 against Utah. A kitchen apron will be handed out on Nov. 25, followed by an Iceburgh loaf pan presented on Feb. 25.
