Person flown to hospital after being hit by train in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. — A person was flown to a Pittsburgh area hospital after being hit by a train in Washington County.

According to Washington County 911, the person was hit by a Norfolk Southern train at around 6:45 p.m. near Lincoln Street in Elco Borough.

There is no information on the person’s condition at this time.
