Pittsburgh law firm launches Baltimore office as part of strategic expansion into Maryland market

Burns White LLC has opened an office in Baltimore.

The Pittsburgh-based law firm said on Monday that two attorneys are located at its new Baltimore site, which is at 400 East Pratt Street, 8th floor, and that it is actively looking to increase the ranks there, although it has not disclosed specific numbers. Courtney C. Barbacane, a Burns White member, serves as the office leader.

The new office will expand the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Health Care and Long-Term Care areas of specialization in Maryland. Having a brick-and-mortar presence is expected to help Burns White better support its existing clients and strengthen relationships with the local business and legal communities.
