Manager Paco Garcia told Channel 11 News Friday that the men got away with four pairs of diamond earrings worth around $130,000.

“He just picked it and stuffed it into his pocket. He closed the thing and walked out,” Garcia said.

He said the two men walked into the store separately and moments later, a delivery driver made a shipment. While dealing with the delivery, employees lost track of one of the men in the store and that’s when he wrapped his arm around the counter, stealing the earrings.

“The next morning we were setting up and my brother said, ‘There's a tray of diamond earrings missing,’” Garcia said.

Garcia said the men who pulled off the jewelry heist were professionals and he’s warning other businesses to be on the lookout.

“Concerned for other stores and other owners, hopefully someone in the community can ID them,” Garcia said.

Anyone who recognizes the men is asked to contact Zone 2 detectives at 412-255-2827.
