PITTSBURGH — Have the umbrella handy on Friday as you head out, as scattered showers could dampen your plans.
The steadiest rain will fall mid-morning through the afternoon, with most of the showers winding down in time for Friday night football.
Cooler temperatures will also settle in through the evening, with lows dipping into the 40s early Saturday morning.
Most of the weekend will be dry with lots of sunshine and seasonal temps for Saturday and isolated showers possible Sunday. Right now, areas south and east of Pittsburgh have the highest chance for rain Sunday, but check the Severe Weather Team 11 forecast for the latest updates.
Next week will be very fall-like with highs in the 60s and night-time lows dipping into the 40s. Depending on which nights are calm, there may be a chance for at least some patchy frost!
