CLAIRTON, Pa. — A man was found shot to death inside an SUV in a remote area of Clairton Friday morning, according to authorities.
Investigators said the man, identified by the medical examiner’s office as Derek McClellan, 44. Another driver found him slouched over in the front seat of a car on Chambers Street around 6 a.m. The SUV had a Louisiana license plate.

“He was seated in the driver's seat. The car was still in drive. His foot was on the brake,” said Allegheny County Detective Andrew Schurman.
Police said the autopsy revealed that McClellan was shot several times in the head and that drugs may have played a role in the incident.
Some people who live in the neighborhood told Channel 11 News they’re on edge.
"I don't even know if it's safe for me and my dog to walk down that way now,” Robert Williams said.
No arrests have been made.
