Smoke billows from building in Pittsburgh’s Mount Washington neighborhood

PITTSBURGH — Emergency crews responded to a fire in Pittsburgh’s Mount Washington neighborhood on Sunday.

First responders were sent to the 600 block of Boggs Avenue at 4:06 p.m., an Allegheny County 911 supervisor says.

Our photographer on scene saw a building with charring on the roof and second story.

Firefighters tell us everyone was able to get out safely.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Photos from a neighbor show smoke billowing from the building.
