Squirrel Hill photographer accused of asking teen to undress for him

SQUIRREL HILL, Pa. — A Squirrel Hill photographer is facing charges after police said he asked a teenage employee to undress herself in exchange for money.

According to the criminal complaint, Robert Carrington, of Photos and More on Murray Avenue, is accused of telling the teen he would pay her a salary if she agreed to do a "favor" for him.

The complaint went on to say that the favor included the 17-year-old undressing herself. Police said Carrington also asked the girl if he could touch her.

The girl told police that Carrington told her that her pay would be reduced if she no longer did favors for him.

“I’m really disappointed in him. I thought I could trust this guy,” the girl’s mother said. “That’s not appropriate for anybody to say to anyone else, especially to a child.”

Carrington, who is out of jail on bail, denies the accusations. He is facing promoting prostitution and corruption of minors charges.

He told Channel 11's Cara Sapida that he does a lot of good for the community and she's making the accusations because she got fired.

“I don’t care what you’ve done for the community, you can’t go around taking advantage of people,” the mother said.
