NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. — What began as a utility shut-off ended with a utility worker running into the woods, fearing for his life.
North Huntingdon police charged Mykola Prut after they said Prut pointed a gun and threatened the man, who works for the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County.
Court documents say Prut told investigators he was getting ready to brush his teeth when the water stopped, so he grabbed his handgun and went outside when he saw someone near the water valve.
The victim told police he was in fear for his life and ran through the woods to get away. He even jumped into Brush Creek to escape.
