NEW SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Video posted to social media this week shows a pickup truck swerving around a group of motorcyclists and nearly running one off the road.
It’s gone viral on multiple social media platforms with millions of views on TikTok alone.
Police in New Sewickley Township confirmed they are investigating the incident. It happened along Freedom Crider Road near a busy sports complex.
We showed a video of the incident to several people. One told us she’d already seen it.
“That’s a pretty insane video,” one woman told us.
“Whatever the biker did to him, I don’t think that’s necessary to run a biker off the road,” one man said.
One angle shows a name on the side of the truck: CE Little Contracting. It also shows a phone number for the business.
We called the number, but no one answered. The company’s website is not operational.
New Sewickley Township Police posted a statement to social media saying they are “aware of and investigating the facts surrounding the video that is being shared, which involves the motorcycles and truck on Freedom Crider Road.”
The statement goes on to say they are asking the operators of the motorcycles to contact them.
People we spoke to told Channel 11 the driver should face discipline, and they believe police should be involved.
“Nothing is that serious. Nothing should cause it to escalate that much,” one man said.
