Water main break disrupts service in Greenfield

PITTSBURGH — Some Pittsburgh families will be without water for several hours on Sunday because of a water main break.

The break is on Hazelwood Avenue in Greenfield. The road is closed between Beechwood Boulevard and Murray Avenue.

A Channel 11 photographer on scene saw gravel covering the roadway.

Pittsburgh Water has not said how many customers are affected, but it does not expect to restore service until 4 p.m.
