12 of Allegheny County's Most Wanted arrested on Fugitive Takedown Day

PITTSBURGH — A total of 12 arrests were made Wednesday as part of Fugitive Takedown Day, a partnership between WPXI and The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office.

UPDATE: At least seven additional fugitives were captured as of 2 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

Throughout the day Wednesday, Channel 11 News featured Allegheny County's Most Wanted fugitives on the air and on WPXI.com.

Authorities said they received dozens of tips with specific information that led to the arrests, including a sex-assault suspect who was on the run for years.

A 13th person, Cody Henderson, was arrested for hindering the apprehension of Dylan Keller, who was wanted for burglary.

While Fugitive Takedown Day might have ended, many of the county’s most wanted remain on the run.

Tips from the public are critical in helping the Sheriff's Office track down these fugitives.
