PITTSBURGH — When you hear the famous “I’m lovin’ it” line, you think hamburgers and fries. But now, be prepared to think LOBSTER!
McDonald's has announced a new addition to its menu at locations across New England -- the lobster roll.
According to Fox CT, participating restaurants began selling the lobster roll on June 27.

McDonald's says the lobster roll is made with 100 percent North Atlantic lobster and mayonnaise, layered on a bed of lettuce stuffed between a toasted bun.
The lobster roll -- which is listed at 290 calories -- is selling for $7.99 (value meal $10.99). By comparison, the Big Mac is 530 calories.
This is the first time in a decade that New England-area McDonald’s restaurants are offering the sandwich.
"The return of the Lobster Roll is exciting because we have requests for it every summer. It's a delicious sandwich and we are thrilled to offer this regional favorite at a great value," Nicole Garvey, a McDonald's Boston region spokesperson, told Fox CT.
McDonald's restaurants in Canada have also recently added a version of a lobster roll.
The Atlantic McLobster is reportedly different that the lobster roll served in America, though.
