Scott Harbaugh

None — Scott Harbaugh is a meteorologist for Severe Weather Team 11 and PCNC.

When Scott arrived at Channel 11 in December 2005, he was no stranger to the area. He is originally from Pittsburgh and a North Allegheny alumnus. A graduate of Ohio University, he majored in journalism with a specialization in pre-meteorology, and then continued on to receive his certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Scott’s career has taken him to Zanesville, Ohio, Bluefield, West Virginia, Augusta, Georgia, and most recently Rockford, Illinois.

Since his start in television, Scott has earned a West Virginia AP Award, and a National Weather Association Seal. He is active with the American Cancer Society.

Scott considers the three-foot snow fall in West Virginia the most memorable weather story he’s covered, but his proudest moment was his return to Pittsburgh.

“There is no place like home,” Scott says. “Having a chance to forecast weather in my hometown is a dream come true.”
