Allegheny County reports 15 new COVID deaths

The Allegheny County Health Department reported 15 new deaths from COVID-19 cases on Saturday.

The deaths included three people in their 60s, two in their 70s, five in their 80s, four in their 90s and one who was over 100 years old.

The dates of death ranged from November 6 to November 19. Ten deaths were associated with a long-term care facility.

In the last 24 hours, the Health Department also reported 594 new COVID-19 cases. Of these, 472 are confirmed cases from 2,632 new PCR tests. There are 122 probable cases. New cases range in age from 4 months to 99 years with a median age of 39 years. The dates of positive tests ranged from October 22 to November 20. Nine positive tests are more than a week old.

Since March 14, there have been 23,121 cases of COVID-19 in Allegheny County residents, 1,755 hospitalizations and 482 deaths.
