Bedbugs found inside dorms at Edinboro University

ERIE, Pa. — Bedbugs were found inside two dorms at Edinboro University in Erie, according to a report from Erie News Now.

The report said the bedbugs were located in two residence halls, and that those students have been moved to other rooms while the cleanup takes place.

Per the university’s bedbug protocol, all fabric in the infested rooms will be dried at high heat to kill the bugs before being washed and dried as usual.

According to Erie News Now, a pest control company will then administer three treatments to the infested areas and inspect them after each one.

The students will have the option to return to their original rooms or stay in other rooms once they are deemed bug-free.
