“I’ve seen her around the neighborhood when I’d walk my dog she’d always say hi and smile,” said neighbor Leo Pompeo.

Moran went missing from her home on Wheeler Avenue on either July 25 or 26.

Her family said police found her body over the hillside near her home at 10:30 p.m. on Friday.

The family says they don’t suspect foul play and believe she fell down the hill.

“We would love to know exactly what happened to her and I’m sure eventually police will find out exactly what happened,” Pompeo said. “She was a very nice lady, very friendly, and we are going to miss her.”

County homicide detectives are investigating the death. At this time, the county’s medical examiner has not released the cause of death.
