The police chief said that an elderly woman died in the fire, and that three other people made it out.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim who died as 70-year-old Linda Lewis.

Channel 11 talked to a neighbor who know the woman who died. Piera McCutheon said she was always nice and friendly, and she’s sad she is gone.

“Well, it’s very devastating. I knew the lady. I’ve been living here for four years. I saw her in the summertime playing with her grandkids, so it’s really sad that she passed away,” McCutheon said.

The cause of the fire is unknown. The fire marshal is investigating.
