LOS ANGELES — A Lawrence County college professor will make his debut on “Jeopardy!” Thursday evening.

Patrick Lackey is a chemistry professor from Westminster College in New Wilmington, a small community just north of New Castle.

Lackey is just one of a number of local guests taking part in season 38 of the popular game show.
