Man accused of beating person with baseball bat turns himself in

MILLVALE, Pa. — The man accused of beating another man with a baseball bat in Millvale earlier this month has turned himself in to police.

Julio Janero surrendered Thursday morning to the district magistrate's office in Shaler Township. An arrest warrant had been issued for him, and police were searching for him.

The man who was beaten is in critical condition.

Janero is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault and two counts of recklessly endangering another person.
