PITTSBURGH — A man died after he was shot in the head Wednesday night in Pittsburgh’s Perry South neighborhood, police said.
Cordelle Davis, 26, of Dravosburg, was shot just before 9:30 p.m. in the area of Brightridge Street.
Police said Davis was shot in the head and also may have had a puncture wound to his chest. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but he died a short time later.
The police investigation had several blocks of Brighton Road near Brightridge Street shut down.
Channel 11′s crew at the scene could see several evidence markers in the street and detectives searching with flashlights.
