Pittsburgh woman found after going missing

PITTSBURGH — UPDATE: Rachel Ovelman has been found safe, Pittsburgh police announced shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday.

ORIGINAL STORY: A woman is considered missing and endangered, and the Pittsburgh Police Special Victims Unit is asking for the public’s help finding her.

Rachel Ovelman, 28, was last heard from about 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Ovelman is described as being 5 feet, 5 inches tall and about 115 pounds. She has blonde hair and green eyes, and she’s known to frequent the Lawrenceville area. She might be driving a white Honda Civic with Pennsylvania license plate number HYH-4126.

Anyone with information about Ovelman’s whereabouts is asked to call SVU at 412-323-7141.
