Plan for Hyperloop in Pittsburgh moving forward

PITTSBURGH — Plans to build a Hyperloop in Pittsburgh are moving forward.

The U.S. House last week passed a bill that calls for a regulatory framework on the Hyperloop to be created over the next six months.

The Hyperloop creates a vacuum and can transport pods at a high speed because there’s little air resistance.

Under the current plan, a trip to Columbus would take 30 minutes and cost $33 and you could get to Chicago in a little more than an hour.
