Pittsburgh — PNC Financial Services Group Inc. is forging ahead on another year of 100-plus branch closures across its footprint.
Some 20 sites are now on the chopping block, including two in Pittsburgh, according to a regulatory filing that was confirmed on Tuesday by Pittsburgh’s biggest bank.
PNC (NYSE:PNC) is closing its downtown branch at 600 Grant St. and its branch at 4764 Baum Blvd., which is in the city’s Oakland neighborhood. Both of these consolidations are scheduled to occur on April 16 at 3 p.m., Marcey Zwiebel, senior vice president and director of corporate public relations, said via email on Tuesday.
