Portrait studio abruptly closes its doors, leaving behind customers’ orders

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Paper now covers the front windows and door of national chain Portrait Innovations’ store in Cranberry Township, preventing anyone from seeing inside.

A spokesperson with the Streets of Cranberry Shops on Route 19 confirmed Thursday the business abruptly shut down overnight last week. In fact, they found a note on the door saying Portrait Innovations was never coming back.

More than 40 customers’ orders were left behind in the abandoned space. The orders include dozens of large photos on canvases, as well as envelope after envelope containing pictures and photos on discs.

The UPS Store next door has collected all the items and is now working to hand them over to the rightful customers.

Portrait Innovations customers who have orders can call the Streets of Cranberry at 412-476-9157. Orders can be picked up in person from The UPS Store.
