OCEAN CITY, Md. — A 33-year-old Prospect man died while swimming in the Atlantic Ocean in Ocean City, Maryland, on Friday.
Joshua White, a husband and father of three, was swimming with his son, when he began struggling against the water.
The child was saved by the mother, and others at the scene were able to help get White out of the water, but shortly after being taken to local hospital he was pronounced dead.

Today the family is asking for help through gofundme page. The family says they’re in need of money to fly White’s body back home and to arrange a proper funeral and burial, and any extra money raised will go toward the well-being of White’s three children.
