PITTSBURGH — The retrial for a man accused in a 2012 deadly shooting in Beltzhoover started Tuesday.
Deshawn Nelson is charged in the death of Daimond Hill, who was shot and killed on Curtin Avenue.
Investigators said Hill was shot in the chest outside his home. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Nelson was arrested inside his home a few days later and charged with criminal homicide.
Nelson’s first trial ended in a hung jury.
