Julie Thomas was texting her mother to call 911 because her ex-boyfriend -- Jamel Miles -- allegedly climbed in through the balcony and broke her glasses.

Thomas told police Miles punched and choked her, so she grabbed a knife from the kitchen.

According to investigators, Miles had a stab wound in his back and a cut on his arm. He claimed Thomas was drunk and that he got mad because she was texting another guy.

However, he admitted that he knew there was a PFA against him, despite witnesses seeing the two together earlier that day.

“Go ahead and arrest me for violating the PFA. I’ll be out in 45 days,” Miles allegedly told officers while in custody.

Police said Miles knew he wasn’t allowed to be on the property, and both he and Thomas are facing charges.
