Woman killed, another hurt in crash in Pittsburgh neighborhood

PITTSBURGH — A woman was killed and another hurt in a crash Saturday in the Bon Air section of Pittsburgh.

The single car crash happened along Route 51 around 11:20 p.m.

Investigators said the driver of the car hit a utility pole.

Katherine Barvilchak, 26, died at the scene. Another woman in the car was taken to the hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
