MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police in Pennsylvania are searching for a man accused of throwing a toddler onto a highway shoulder and biting the child's mother.

According to LancasterOnline, the incident occurred Sunday as the victims and Tyree Berry, 34, of Lancaster, were traveling down Route 30 West in Manheim Township. Berry threatened to kill the woman, who pulled over the car in an attempt to seek help, Manheim Township police said in a news release. When she tried to stop Berry from taking her 2-year-old child out of the car, Berry bit the woman’s finger, she told officers. Police responded and issued an arrest warrant for Berry, who faces charges of endangering a child's welfare, making terroristic threats and simple assault, according to the release.
