WATCH: Jennifer Aniston, Jimmy Kimmel surprise Utah nurse suffering COVID-19 with $10K gift
Jennifer Aniston gave an award-winning performance by surprising fans touring the Central Perk set. The "Friends" actress surprised a Utah nurse suffering from the novel coronavirus with news late-night host Jimmy Kimmel was giving her $10,000.

A Utah nurse, furloughed from work and diagnosed this week with the novel coronavirus, received the surprise of a lifetime during a webcam call on Thursday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

According to People magazine and The Hollywood Reporter, Kimball Fairbanks shared her story with Kimmel and actress Jennifer Aniston, who told the front-line health care worker, “I just have to say God bless you and all of you that are out there, doing what you’re doing. I don’t even know how to express my gratitude to everything that you guys are doing and putting your health at risk and all of that. You’re just phenomenal.”

When Fairbanks offered that her two-week self-isolation routine while struggling with the virus’ symptoms makes cooking difficult, Aniston saw her opening.

“That’s good cause you know what Jimmy cooked up? You’re gonna be getting a $10,000 gift certificate from Postmates.”
