Another 90-degree day, thunderstorms possible Friday

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh reached the 90s again Thursday, marking the seventh straight day of temperatures above 90 degrees.

Thursday brought severe thunderstorms and strong winds throughout the area. Allegheny County was under a flash flood warning for a few hours following heavy rain.

It will be a mild and humid night with lows near 70 degrees. Patchy fog will develop, especially in areas with recent rainfall.

Friday will bring a partly sunny sky with hot and humid weather. High temperatures should once again reach the 90s for the eighth-straight day in Pittsburgh. This would be the longest stretch since 1995.
