Few storms possible on Independence Day

A few showers and storms are crossing the area Saturday morning, though not severe. Heavy downpours, thunder and lightning are possible, but the threat of severe weather is low.

A few showers and storms can occur later Saturday, but many hours will be dry.

Humidity is quite high, with the dew point at 71 degrees at 9 a.m.

TRENDING NOW:

The dew point may drop into the mid-60s later, which is still rather high.
