PITTSBURGH — The sun breaks out later today, but clouds will win the battle for much of the day, helping to keep temperatures down a few degrees with highs in the mid-70s.
The weekend starts dry, but it will certainly end on the damp side.
Sun will give way to clouds Saturday, with only a passing shower late in the day. Rain overspreads the area late Saturday night and will continue on and off through the day Sunday. There will be many dry hours Sunday, but you might need to make some alternate plans for outdoor activities.
The damp pattern continues through the middle of next week with some areas seeing more than two inches of rain Sunday through Wednesday. Localized flooding will once again be a concern.
