Isolated storms could become severe, bring strong winds tonight

PITTSBURGH — It will be warm and very muggy this evening, with showers and storms possible. A few isolated storms could become severe and may produce strong winds. Make sure to stay weather aware. Clearing conditions are expected late overnight into Sunday morning with lows in the 60s.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for parts of Beaver and Lawrence counties until 7:45 p.m.

Sunday will be dry with sun and clouds. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s, and it will be humid but not as muggy. Wildfire smoke high in the atmosphere may bring a hazy or milky-looking sky to the area Sunday afternoon and evening.

Very humid conditions are expected Monday and Thursday with unsettled weather each day. Showers and storms are possible at times. They could be slow-moving and produce heavy rainfall, which could bring localized flooding to the area. Some storms could produce strong to severe winds.
