PITTSBURGH — Eight days left in August and most of it is going to be dry.
Tuesday will see periods of sun and clouds. Temperatures will warm into the upper 70s, but humidity will still be comfortable.
Wednesday will feel a bit muggier, and highs will creep back into the low 80s. It will be another dry day.
The next system bringing showers and storms arrives Thursday, with an uptick in rain chances after lunch and into the evening. Right now, widespread severe weather is not expected, but a few storms could bring gusty winds and downpours.
We dry out again for the weekend with high temperatures in the lower 80s.
