PITTSBURGH — Big changes are on the way as we head into the weekend, as a strong autumn system heads our way.
Rain showers during the day Friday will come with 30-35 mph gusty winds that will usher in a big temperature drop.
Temperatures for Friday night football games will be in the 40s.
The weekend itself will bring beautiful weather with plenty of sunshine, but you’ll need the extra layers if you’re heading to Fall Festivals. Wind chills early Saturday morning will hover around freezing and despite the bright sunshine, high temperatures will struggle to get back into the 50s.
Sunday morning will start out even colder, with low temperatures dropping low enough to trigger a hard freeze across many areas.
