Showers, storms do not let up for the weekend

PITTSBURGH — Scattered showers and storms continue as we head into the weekend. There will be many dry hours, but the threat of localized flooding and gusty winds will come with any storm that develops.

Outdoor plans may be impacted by wet weather early Saturday and again during the afternoon and evening. Stronger storms will be possible so have the Severe Weather Team 11 app with you for the latest updates, watches and warnings.

Sunday brings a much-needed break in the stormy pattern with sunshine and a chance to dry out but unfortunately not much relief from the humidity.
