‘Dateline’ preview: inside the mysterious murder of graduate student Kate Sepich

Grab a buddy and gear up for a two-hour “Dateline” that you won’t want to watch alone.

The episode titled, “The Woman Who Couldn’t Scream” takes viewers through the mysterious murder of a graduate student, Kate Sepich, and a quest to change DNA collection laws.

For more than three years, the case remained unsolved, but Sepich’s mom would not take no for an answer when it came to finding who was responsible for the gruesome act.

Narrated by Josh Mankiewicz, Friday’s “Dateline” will have feature interviews with Sepich’s parents, former roommate and law enforcement detectives.
