WARN notice: FedEx Ground to close distribution facility near the airport

A FedEx Ground facility in Clinton is set to close and could impact 186 employees according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice posted Thursday on the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry website.

The notice said the closure will go into effect on May 16 for the facility located at 2291 Sweeney Dr. near the Pittsburgh International Airport. According to a FedEx Ground communications representative, the closure of the facility is not related to COVID-19.
