Authorities have recovered another gun at Pittsburgh International Airport.

Allegheny County police say Philip Ralph Wilson, 46, of Ohio, tried to bring a Smith and Wesson 4043 .40mm caliber handgun with him through the security checkpoint.

TSA agents found the gun inside a carry-on bag around 3:26 p.m. Saturday.

Wilson reportedly does not have a valid concealed carry permit.

Authorities took the gun and arrested Wilson on a gun charge, bringing him to the Allegheny County Jail.

Only two days before, a West Virginia man allegedly tried to bring a handgun in a carry-on bag through the airport’s security checkpoint.

Police note that people who bring guns into a security checkpoint could face fines of up to $12,210 the first time and $17,062 if it happens again.
