WASHINGTON, Pa. — Four men were sentenced Monday in connection to the 2014 death of a 10-year-old girl who was killed when police said shots were fired through the door of the Washington apartment where she lived.
Police said the four men sentenced were accused of conspiring to rob someone at the West Chestnut Street apartment where Ta'Niyah Thomas was fatally shot.

Three of the suspects in the death of Ta'Niyah made plea deals in April, the fourth, Douglas Cochran Jr., did so Monday.
Ta'Niyah's father, Curtis Thomas, told Channel 11's Cara Sapida that he doesn't believe justice was served with the pleas.
"I never agreed to any plea deals and I have expressed my dismay," said Curtis Thomas.
Anthian Goehring, 29, received a sentence of 30 to 60 years after pleading guilty to third-degree murder, conspiracy to commit third-degree murder and robbery with the intent to inflict serious bodily injury.
Cochran, 19, received a sentence of 22 to 50 years. He pleaded guilty to third-degree murder, conspiracy to commit third-degree murder and robbery with the intent to inflict serious bodily injury.
Malik Thomas, 22, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit third-degree murder and robbery. He was sentenced to four to eight years.
Richard White was sentenced to three to six years after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit third-degree murder and robbery.
Investigators said Goehring and Cochran fired into the apartment, while Malik Thomas and White stayed in a car.
"They knew there were children there," said Curtis Thomas. "Why would you kick in the door and fire into the house? I can't understand that train of thought."
Family members told Channel 11 that two of the suspects are their relatives.
"It's painful. It's a forever pain. I can never see my child again, never hold her hand, never hear her say, 'Daddy,'" said Curtis Thomas.
