WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — A popular attraction, the Raging Rapids, will return to Kennywood in 2023.

Teams will be working on the ride for the next few weeks.
“Over the next few weeks, teams will continue to break in and fine-tune the ride’s new control system that was installed as part of its refurbishment project. Those refreshed boats look pretty snazzy, too! We’ll share the ride’s exact springtime reopening date once everything is good to go,” the park said in a Facebook post.
The ride’s reopening date will be shared once the park has completed the necessary work.
Kennywood reopens for its 125th year on April 22.
