• Boat becomes submerged in Ohio River, leaks fuel

    PITTSBURGH - Fuel spilled into the Ohio River after a boat became submerged in the water Sunday afternoon.

    Officials said a 29-foot cruiser sunk about 4:30 p.m. near the Branchport Marina in Pittsburgh’s Chateau neighborhood.

    Fire crews and emergency medical services responded to the scene. The Coast Guard and River Rescue were also called.
