Bridge inspection on Parkway East will cause road restriction on Sunday

PITTSBURGH — Bridge inspection work will cause a road restriction on the Parkway East this weekend.

Work will be held on the eastbound side of Interstate 376 (Parkway East) at the Forbes Avenue/Oakland exit in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

The lane restriction will occur as needed in the outbound direction at Exit 72A.

The inspection activities, managed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, are scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The off-ramp will remain open while work takes place.

Crews from Michael Baker International will conduct the work along the highway in Allegheny County.
