Crews battled a fire in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County on Thursday.

The call came in at 9:56 a.m., for the fire in the 1000 block of Middletown Road.

An official said no injuries have been reported, but a cat was trapped. The official didn’t know if the animal was rescued.
A Channel 11 photographer captured video that shows heavy smoke and flames coming from the home.
