Families escape fire at Stowe Twp. row houses

STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Three families escaped their homes after a series of row houses caught fire in Stowe Township early Sunday morning.

Flames broke out on Overlook Place about 3:30 a.m.

"The second floor of the unit was fully involved. Everybody was evacuated from the building and we suppressed the fire from there," said Mark Jacobs, Stowe Township fire marshal.

The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
