SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A homicide investigation is underway in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania State Police confirm.
Troopers responded to a home on Herminie West Newton Road in Sewickley Township for an unresponsive female Sunday morning.
When troopers arrived, she was dead, according to a social media post from PSP.
The Westmoreland County Office of the Coroner identified the female as Christin E. Hamilton of West Newton. An age was not provided.
The cause and manner of her death have not yet been determined.
State police initially said they were searching for Jakob Michael Korber, who was in the area.
At 6:54 p.m., state police confirmed to Channel 11 that Korber was taken into custody without incident.
