PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Regional Transit said an internet outage delayed T rail cars and threw several of their systems offline.
Adam Brandolph, spokesperson for PRT, says that rail cars were delayed by about 20 minutes in both directions.
PRT could not program or play audio announcements at stations.
The majority of the systems returned to normal at around 4 p.m, Brandolph said, with the exception of some internal computer systems. The rail service is generally back on schedule.
